Butterfly Conservation are looking for volunteers to help them out on a Friday with their Workshops at West Pilton Park. The group meet to sow a wildflower called yellow rattle into the ground in order to try and establish a new home for future butterflys. If your free between 10am and 3pm, Why not give it a go?

Did you know, that Scotland's biggest single site private school, George Watson's College, is undergoing a £4.8 million pound regeneration? The new expansion will see room for new facilities in the school such as new modern language buildings and an an alternative entrance. Last week Police Scotland teamed up with Score Scotland to bring a series of events which are aimed at tackling the issues of Hate Crime in South East Edinburgh. To end the week, police were at Wester Hailes Education Centre to grab a cuppa with members of the public to educate them about the subject matter.
