I am an experienced reporter currently with Edinburgh Live as seen in, Daily Mirror, Daily Star (UK), Birmingham Live, Scottish Daily Record, East Riding Mail, LancsLive and Scottish Field.


Previously a Digital Communications Officer working with the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and the Royal Family brand. Before that, I worked as a TV news reporter for That's TV Scotland.

THE MAKING OF THE GREAT TAPESTRY OF SCOTLAND

Scotland’s 18th century cotton-spinning Mill Village, New Lanark, is hosting the Great Tapestry Of Scotland.
New Lanark is one of Scotland’s six UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and provides the perfect location for the six-week celebration of Scottish tapestry, which runs 10am until 5pm until 1 July.

SCOTS OPTED FOR ICELAND OVER THE BAHAMAS

Research has revealed that in 2017 the people of Edinburgh searched for trips to Iceland more than Brazil, China and even the Bahamas!
Analysis conducted by private tour and adventure group Hidden Iceland, revealed that searches regarding trips to Iceland were made from Edinburgh more often than anywhere else in the UK.

BABY SEAL RESCUED FROM PORTOBELLO BEACH

A baby seal was discovered washed up on Portobello beach this morning by locals.
Jo Tennant who came across the seal took to social media to warn dogwalkers writing: “Seal pup on the beach at bottom of Brunstane Road North/ Dalriada. Please can dog owners keep dogs on lead on this section of the beach. SSPCA called.”
